Teacher Training Diploma: City & Guilds / ITEC

One Sunday per month (10am-5pm) for 9 months.

This course is designed for qualified therapists or other professionals who wish to teach in their area of expertise. This qualification will enable you to join the ever growing world of education.

Course content:
Unit 1: Principles of delivering learning
Unit 2: Designing learning programmes
Unit 3: Designing learning resources
Unit 4: Designing assessment activities
Unit 5: Communication, delivery & managing disruption: microteaching
Unit 6: Observe & evaluate the performance of an experienced teacher/trainer
Unit 7: Professional development of the teacher/trainer

Optional Units:
Unit 8: Developing professional practise: teaching/training: 30 hours of teaching practice
Unit 9: Developing professional practice: case study

To achieve this City & Guilds Diploma in Delivering Learning, candidates must successfully complete all of the units 1-7, plus either unit 8 or unit 9. Unit 8 is mandatory for candidates who are currently in a teaching / training role.

We also offer the ITEC Teacher Training Diploma for those who wish to teach ITEC Qualifications only.
