• Gel & Acrylic Nails: over this fantastic 2 or 4 day you will learn to develop professional skills in the art of nail extensions. You can earn €50 per full set of gel nail extensions! Included in the cost for training is a full professional kit, 36 watt UV curing lamp, course manuals, examination and certification. • Ayurvedic Balancing foot Massage: In Ayurveda we all have the three Doshas in our physiology but in differing proportions leading to our own unique and individual Dosha. • Foot Reading Seminar with Jane Sheehan This fantastic new 2 day course at ibht is run by Jane Sheehan, author and well-known reflexologist. Simply by analysing the shapes of feet and toes, we can tell an awful lot about a person. You will learn techniques to be able to read emotions and personality from the feet, to make your treatments much more holistic by understanding not only the physical but the emotional aspects of the client. Day 1 theory, Day 2 Practical. Essential for anyone with an interest in the art of Reading the Feet, discover more about what your client really thinks!
• Hand Reflexology: Why not offer your clients an alternative to foot reflexology treatments? By attending this 1 day intensive course you can promote hand reflexology and expand your skills & business dynamics.
• Hopi Ear Candling (Thermo-Auricular Therapy):this is a pleasant and non-invasive treatment of the ears, used to treat a variety of conditions. The ear candles induce a revitalising heat upon the head and ears, which soothes, relaxes and relieves numerous common ailments. One day training course.
• Indian Head Massage: A two-day intensive course. Indian Head Massage is a deeply relaxing & therapeutic treatment that requires minimal space and equipment. It can be performed as a stand alone treatment or as an addition to a body treatment or facial.
• ITEC Stress Management Diploma: The main aim of the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in On Site Massage is to enable candidates to provide treatments for the purposes of relaxation and stress release in the workplace. Topics covered include: holistic approach, integral biology, understanding stress, the stress response, effects of stress on all body systems, diet & stress, treating stress, coping strategies & stress management and learn how to perform on-site seated massage. 9 Case studies must be completed (3 clients x 3 treatments). Mock & Final examinations• On Site Massage paper of 30 minutes duration with a total of 25 questions • A Practical exam conducted by an ITEC Practical Examiner. • Internal Assessment of ALL case studies
