ITEC Sports Massage Diploma now available at ibht!
Sports massage is a therapy skill used for prevention and treatment of sports injuries. It incorporates intensive advanced techniques to improve suppleness and flexibility of muscles & joints. It is greatly used as part of a training programme, rehabilitation to treat injury or for warming up or down during events and training.
It combines Swedish body massage with advanced techniques such as compression, frictioning, neuro-muscular technique, muscle energy technique, soft tissue release , connective tissue massage as well as lymphatic drainage.

Beauty Therapy Full-time Course
Our comprehensive Fulltime Beauty Therapy Diploma course is starting again in September 2010. You can opt to study Year 1 or Year 1&2 Consecutively. Classes are held Monday - Thursday 9.30 - 4.30pm. Students will gain work experience in our Student Clinics in Year 1 while outside work experience will be arranged for Year 2. All Diploma modules are accredited by ITEC and VTCT.

We are delighted to have celebrity Foot Reader Jane Sheehan back to do more workshops.
“We are all used to changing our facial expressions and hiding our true feelings, but we can’t do that with our feet – they tell the truth! Simply by analysing the shapes of feet and toes, we can tell an awful lot about a person. By using the guidelines set out in my workshop, you can make your treatments much more holistic by understanding not only the physical but the emotional aspects of the client. You can also take it further and use foot reading as a self-help guide to improving your control over you own life. It’s a great tool for personal development.” Jane Sheehan
This 2 day course will give you a deeper understanding of the way emotional aspects and personality are reflected on the feet.
You will learn techniques to be able to read emotions and personality from the feet. – to extrapolate and arrive at an answer even when they are presented with something they haven’t seen before.
Jane will share the secrets of how to ‘read’ personality traits in feet Jane’s seminar will give everyone the opportunity to learn an unusual skill that makes them appear to be ‘psychic’.
