• Diet & Nutrition

Can I Study Practical Skills by Distance Learning?

We also have some practical modules that can be learned through combined learning. You can study the following theory modules by distance learning:

• Waxing theory module
• Skin care & eye treatments theory module
• Tanning theory module
• Manicure & pedicure theory module
• Make-up theory module
• Health & Safety theory module
• Massage theory module
• Aromatherapy theory module

And Then....

Following completion of these distance learning theory modules, you may wish to learn the practical skills to match the theory! Depending on the option you go for, you will then be able to use your practical skills to:

• Carry out self treatment at home! or
• Gain a professional, insurable & international qualification!

Practical skills can only be learned by attending training at IBHT. In order to gain a professional qualification, you must complete all the required paperwork & assessments and satisfy the standards set by the awarding body.

• An information pack will be sent to you
• Complete the application form and return to the office with your payment. Payment plans may be available – you can discuss this with the office
• Upon commencement you will receive your distance learning programme, learner style questionnaire, study guidelines, course completion guidelines, assignment submission dates, notes, study materials, assignments, student log-in details, tutor contact details & ibht student card.
• Course work must be submitted as per dates issued.
• Support is available from your tutor by email.
• Support from office by email, phone or text.
• To gain a professional qualification you must attend ibht for theory assessments.
