“I have just completed my Advanced Make up Course in IBHT. I would highly recommend it to anyone trying to get started in the make up industry as it starts from the absolute basics. Working with Odel was very enjoyable. She is very down to earth and very approachable if you have a question that needs answering. It is a very friendly and relaxed environment. I found the student clinic day very interesting, as I got to see what is expected of me in that type of setting. The other students were very welcoming.

I learned a lot about the basics of make up, how to pick products to suit different skin types and colours that complement and contrast with each other. We had access to a wide range of products during our classes. I love my make up kit that the college provided me with for my course and have been adding my own bits and pieces to it since. I would have liked to see more high fashion looks as well as the day, evening and bridal looks that we were shown.

But all in all I had a great experience with IBHT. When I started I was very nervous as the only person I had done make up for was myself but this course has given me the confidence I needed to put my creative flair to good use. It was a great course to get me started in the Make Up industry and I look forward to studying in the college again in the near future.
